Usage
Preparation: Unknown: From 6 months
Preparation of the bottle:
Important: Incorrect preparation or use of this product may harm your child’s health. Carefully follow the advice below:
– Use a thoroughly washed and sterilised bottle, teat and ring.
– Only use the measuring spoon provided in this tin.
– Always prepare the bottle just before a meal and give it to your baby immediately. The bottle must be consumed within half an hour.
Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilise the bottle, teat and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes.
1 Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to approximately 40°-50°C*.
2 Pour the cooled water into the bottle in the correct quantity.
3 Loosely fill the measuring spoon and level it off. Add the recommended quantity of powdered milk to the bottle.
4 Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
5 Let it cool to drinking temperature (approximately 37°C). Check the temperature. It’s ready!
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid bacteria, it is advisable not to pour boiling water over the milk powder.
Drinking quantity & dosage:
Always use 1 measuring spoon (4.5 g) for 30 ml of water. Babies need approx. 5 meals per day. With each new meal of solid food, bottle feeding should be discontinued. The recommended drinking quantity and the number of portions per day are guidelines. Your child does not necessarily have to drink the bottle empty.

Use

You can switch from any follow-on milk to HiPP 2 Bio Combiotik®.
Warnings and restrictions on use
– Do not heat the milk in the microwave (risk of burns).
– Do not reuse leftover milk.
– Check the expiry date on the bottom of the can.
… for the health of your baby’s teeth: If you give Hipp 2 Bio Combiotik® from a bottle, do not let your child suck for long periods of time. Regular or prolonged contact of the teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates can cause caries and thus damage to health. Teach your child good dental hygiene from the first milk teeth – especially before going to bed.
Save
After opening, the tightly closed tin of HiPP 2 Bio Combiotik® milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature. This tin should be stored in a cool, dry place.
