Usage
From 10 months Preparing the bottle: Follow the following advice carefully: – Use a carefully washed and sterilised bottle, teat and ring. – Only use the measuring spoon that is in this tin. – Always prepare the bottle just before a meal and give it to your baby immediately. The bottle must be consumed within half an hour. Drinking quantity & dosage: Always use 1 measuring spoon (4 g) for 30 ml of water. Babies need approx. 5 meals a day. With each new meal of solid food, bottle feeding should be discontinued. The recommended drinking quantity and the number of portions per day are guidelines. Your child does not necessarily have to drink the bottle empty. Ready to drink ml: 170 ml; Dosage: Boiled water ml: 150 ml; Measuring spoons: 5 Ready to drink ml: 200 ml; Dosage: Boiled water ml: 180 ml; Measuring spoons: 6 Ready to drink ml: 235 ml; Dosage: Boiled water ml: 210 ml; Measuring spoons: 7 Use – In connection with breastfeeding – In connection with any other infant formula You can switch from any follow-on milk to HiPP 3 BIO Combiotik®.
Preparation: Unknown: Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes.
1 Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to about 40°-50°C*.
2 Pour the cooled water into the bottle in the right quantity.
3 Loosely fill the measuring spoon and level it off. Add the recommended quantity of powdered milk to the bottle.
4 Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
5 Let it cool to drinking temperature (about 37°C). Check the temperature. It’s ready!
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid bacteria, it is advisable not to pour boiling water over the powdered milk.
Warnings and restrictions on use
IMPORTANT: Incorrect preparation or use of this product may harm your child’s health.
– Do not heat the milk in the microwave (risk of burns). – Do not reuse any leftover milk. – Check the expiry date on the bottom of the can. IMPORTANT NOTICE … for feeding your baby: Breast milk is the best for your baby. HiPP 3 BIO Combiotik® milk should not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first six months of life. HiPP 3 BIO Combiotik® milk is only suitable as a specific food for infants who are at least ten months old and is only part of a varied diet. Consult your doctor to find out if your baby is ready for a varied diet. … for the health of your baby’s teeth: If you give HiPP 3 BIO Combiotik® from a bottle, do not let your child suck on it for long periods of time. Regular or prolonged contact of the teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates can cause cavities and therefore damage health. Teach your child good dental hygiene from the first baby teeth – especially before going to bed.
Save
After opening, the tightly closed tin of HiPP 3 BIO Combiotik® milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature. This tin should be stored in a cool, dry place.
